You will also want to consider how you will provision students with writers’ folders or notebooks, paper, and writing utensils, and also how you will display or make available classroom resources such as charts, exemplar
texts, word walls, dictionaries, and thesauruses.

  1. Make Charts with students
  2. Make sure the heading names a big skill or goal
  3. Use visuals
  4. Kep the charts current and up during the time children need them
  5. Decide on the language of the chart ahead of time ( consider vocab. and student's reading levels)
  6. Make charts interactive
  7. Clear and concise
  8. Reread charts often
  9. Talk about charts often
  10. Periodically revise charts or retire them.
